Verizon FiOS Mobile App Reviews

I was told when signing up to Fios get this app could stream most channels over my home network and others when I was away from home as well. In reality there are very few channels, about 7 to 10 that it can stream on my home network none of which I have any interest in watching. The selection is extremely limited and a big disappointment. I am satisfied with Fios after swapping from optimum. However the optimum app is far and away superior to the Fios app.

Does not work half the time , I have an iPhone 6. And when I wrote customer service they just said to create a ticket (which I did) so they closed it and told me to make another one.

Very good, I like.i love this app.

I love FIOS cable , internet, wifi. This app is just terrible. I have yet to watch an entire show without the thing either shutting down or buffering. Back to the drawing board Verizon

Buffers often. Is slower than the last release. Play after pausing gets hung up often. They have some bugs to work out I this new version.

What happened with the ability to watch all of your subscribed channels on the app? I am so disappointed in Verizon on all aspects. They are charging a lot with very little returns.

Constantly has errors and informs you it "cant process request at this time" and to "try again later". Pathetic and embarrassing effort from a greedy, overpriced provider.

I gave it five stars but if I could I would give me 4 1/2 only because it has broken down on me a couple times but continues to get better with updates. This app has allowed me to make up for so many mistakes when I forgot to record programs. There is great convenience in having the ability to record things on the fly away from home. Now that you can also watch directly on the phone or tablet, this is great. I use it all the time I think its great.

I think the app is great, but I also find it laughable that some of the most famous channels are not available with the app. Sometimes I want to watch something on my phone or iPad but the app only allows a certain channel to be watched on TV and not on certain devices. Especially the sports ones like ESPN and MSG. Come on verizon, get all the channels available on all platforms: TV, phones and tablets. Its the year 2016, get it together

The app worked at one time and dos exactly what it needed. Since moving to my new home the app has become unreliable and profpgres to the point of not working at all. Verizon tech support seems clueless to how to fix it. The app does not see any of my STBs. The router was checked and there are no firewall rules or filtering that should cause this issue. I would rate this a zero if the App Store would let me as thats what it does now Zero!

The remote feature no longer works. I have no idea what they did but I can longer my set top boxes. Have tried every possible solution and rebooting sequence imaginable. Thanks for the wonderful support Verizon.

This app crashes a lot, especially when trying to watch local stations. I would expect more from a company that charges so much for their services. The app just froze as I was typing the review!

Your app is one of the worst out there. Only thing consistent about it, is it hardly works. Get a new developer and make it work.

Works as advertised, need I say more.

Really not good. Barley launches. Always crashes. Should be more reliable.
